About the Event

On 15th February 2026, Maha Shivratri will be observed across India with great devotion and reverence. This sacred festival is dedicated to Lord Shiva and signifies the divine union of Shiva and Shakti. According to legend, it is on this auspicious night that Lord Shiva performs the cosmic dance of creation, preservation, and dissolution.

While Shivratri is observed every month in the luni-solar calendar, Maha Shivratri occurs only once a year and holds special spiritual significance. Devotees mark the occasion by offering sweets, fruits, bilva leaves, and milk to Lord Shiva, and many observe day-long fasts as an expression of faith and devotion.

At Adhyatma Niketan, Maha Shivratri is celebrated every year with great fervour, devotion, and joy. Sadhaks and devotees gather for a spiritually enriching Satsang, which includes Swadhyay (study of sacred scriptures), followed by Shabds and Bhajans. This is followed by an inspiring Pravachan (discourse) by Param Pujya…
