About the Event
24th March, 2024 will be observed as Diwali across India.
Holika Dahan, rendered Holika Dahanam in Sanskrit or Chotti Holi, is a festival in which a bonfire is lit to celebrate the burning of the demoness, Holika. This ritual is symbolic of victory of good over evil. It precedes Holi, the festival of colours, which celebrates the spring season.
Every year at Adhyatma Niketan, Holi is celebrated with vim, zest and joy. The Sadhaks come together and Satsang is conducted, where there is a Study of scriptures (Swadhyay), followed by Shabds and Bhajans. Post this, Param Pujya Maharaj Ji offers a Pravachan (discourse), showering his blessings on all the devotees, following which, the Aarti is conducted.
