About the Event
24th July, 2021 will be observed as Guru Purnima across India.
Guru Purnima is a tradition dedicated to all the Gurus, who enlighten us with wisdom and show us the path for liberation. The Sadhaks (Spiritual Seekers) pay their respects and express their gratitude to Shri Guru, and seek His blessings. The festival is celebrated on the full moon day (Purnima) in the Hindu month of Ashadha (June–July).
Every year at Adhyatma Niketan, Guru Purnima is celebrated with vim, zest and joy. The Sadhaks come together and Satsang is conducted, where there is a Study of scriptures (Swadhyay), followed by Shabds and Bhajans. Post this, Param Pujya Maharaj Ji offers a Pravachan (discourse), showering his blessings on all the devotees, following which, the Aarti is conducted. On the day following Guru Purnima, Guru Pujan is conducted.
(Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, public gatherings will not be allowed at the Aashram. Please stay home, stay safe, and offer your prayers from home. May the grace of Satguru shower upon all! Jai Gurudev!)
